Overview
SHUCHANG SC-MI-A Melt index meter is an instrument for measuring the flow performance of plasticity polymers at high temperature according to GB3682-2000 test method. It is used for the determination of melt flow rate of polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polyformaldehyde, ABS Resin, polycarbonic acid ester, nylon fluoroplastics and other polymers at high temperature. It is suitable for the production and research of factories and R & D institutions.

Principle
The melt flow rate meter is an extrusion plastic meter that uses a high-temperature heating furnace to achieve a molten state under specified temperature conditions. The molten state of the test object is extruded through a small hole of a certain diameter under the specified weight load gravity. The average weight of the sample in each section of the extrusion is converted into the extrusion amount of 10 minutes to express the flowability, viscosity and other physical properties of the polymer material in the molten state.

Steps
1. Set the specified temperature conditions to achieve a molten state
2. Select the appropriate weight load level
3. Extrude the test object in the molten state through the small hole under the weight load
4. Collect the extrudate sample and weigh it
5. Calculate the average weight of each section of the sample into 10 minutes of extrusion

• Power supply voltage must be kept within 220V +/- 10% 50Hz range
• environment temperature should be controlled between 10 ℃ -40 ℃
• environment relative humidity should be kept within the range of 30% -80%
