Overview
SNB-2 digital rotational viscometer is a precision instrument with automatic scanning function. It uses a large LCD screen to directly display information such as viscosity, rotational speed, percentage torque, rotor number and liquid temperature. Its viscosity measurement range covers 1~ 6000000mPa · s, and is widely used in fluid and semi-fluid production and scientific research fields.
Features
1. The viscosity value of the tested sample is directly displayed on the LCD screen without manual calculation
2. Stepper motor high-subdivision driver with 16-bit microcomputer processor as the core, LCD backlight display
3. Using programmable motor control, the change of mains frequency does not affect the Measurement accuracy
4. One machine design, easy to operate
5. Adopt large-screen Chinese backlit LCD display, with automatic scanning function for viscosity test, and recommend a good combination of rotor and speed
6. The instrument can provide the test low viscosity option "No. 0 rotor", which is used to accurately test the viscosity value in the range of 1~ 100mPa · s
7. Optional temperature probe, real-time measurement of the temperature of the test sample, temperature measurement accuracy 0.1 ℃
8. There is an RS232 interface (or optional USB2.0 interface), which can output data and connect to external devices
9. Standard data processing software, which can record the change of sample viscosity with time, speed or rotor (shear rate) and temperature in real time
Principle
The instrument drives the rotor to swirl/spin in the liquid through the program-controlled motor, measures the resistance torque of the rotor, and directly displays the viscosity value after calculation by the microcomputer processor. The automatic scanning function can intelligently recommend the best rotor and speed combination to ensure accurate and convenient testing.
Applications
Grease, paints, Coatings, Slurries, Spinning & weaving, Food, Adhesives, Cosmetics, hot-melt adhesives, asphalt
Steps
1. Connect the power supply and turn it on.
2. Choose the right rotor and speed combination
3. Immerse the rotor in the tested liquid
4. Start the measurement, the instrument automatically scans and displays the viscosity value
5. Connect external devices to record data through the Interface
Notice
• Power supply voltage within 110~ 230V range before use
• Select the appropriate rotor size and speed for measurement
• Keep the tested liquid capacity between 200 and 350ml
• Regularly calibrate instruments to ensure Measurement accuracy
• Avoid use in strong electromagnetic interference environments
