Overview
HBO HCY-100 pocket surface roughness instrument is a new generation of Portable measuring instrument integrated with Sensor host. It has the characteristics of high Measurement accuracy, wide range, easy operation, easy portability and stable work. It is suitable for the inspection of various metal and Non-metallic machined surfaces, especially suitable for use in production sites.

Principle
The instrument adopts a piezoelectric Sensor, and the stylus of the Sensor moves in a uniform straight line along the measured surface under the drive of the drive device. The up and down displacement of the stylus is converted into an electrical signal through the piezoelectric element. After amplification and filtering, the signal is digitalized and calculated by the high-speed DSP chip, and finally the selected asperity parameters (such as Ra, Rz, etc.) are displayed on the OLED display screen.

Steps
1. Select the appropriate cutoff wavelength (0.25mm, 0.80mm, or 2.50mm) according to the measured surface.
2. Place the instrument measurement head smoothly on the measured surface to ensure that the guide head is in good contact with the surface.
3. Start the measurement, and the Sensor stylus will automatically move along the surface to complete the sampling.
4. After the measurement Travel, the instrument calculates and displays the measurement result (such as Ra value) within about 2 seconds.
5. Miscellaneous parameters (Rz, Rq, Rt) can be viewed by switching between instrument buttons.
6. After the measurement is completed, move the instrument away from the measured surface.
Notice
* Before use, it is recommended to calibrate a little on the standard template to ensure measurement accuracy.
* During measurement, ensure that the instrument guide and Sensor stylus are clean, and the tested surface is free of oil, dust and other impurities.
* Please place the instrument smoothly on the measured surface to avoid shaking or applying additional pressure during the measurement process.
* Ambient Temperature of the instrument is -20 ℃~ 40 ℃, relative humidity < 90%, and there should be no strong vibration and corrosion medium around.
* Storage Ambient Temperature is -25 ℃~ 60 ℃, relative humidity < 90%.
* Avoid violent collision or scratching of the Sensor stylus to prevent damage.
* Please use the matching charger to charge the built-in lithium battery to extend the Battery life.
When not in use for a long time, it is recommended to charge the battery regularly to maintain battery activity.
