Overview
PUSHEN XB-II 120um Mayer Rods is a laboratory bar that uses grooves formed by wrapping stainless steel wires on its surface to control wet film thickness. It can be prepared for 120 micron wet film thickness. The product is widely used in plastics, inks, Coating, Paints, plastics and other industries, and the stainless steel material has a longer service life.
Features
1. It is very suitable for thin coatings of Spreader, such as can Coatings and paper Coatings.
2. For soft materials such as paper, Cardboard, foil, leather, test cardboard, Spinning & weaving products and other effects are most satisfactory.
3. The rods and wires are made of high-grade wear-resistant stainless steel.
4. Spreaders wet film thickness engraved at the end of XB bar.
Principle
The laboratory bar is made of stainless steel wire wound on its surface to form grooves, which can be prepared with wet-film of different wet film thicknesses. Wire of different diameters is wrapped around a certain length of stainless steel steel rod, and the gap between the wires is used to prepare films of different thicknesses.
Applications
Plastic, inks, Coatings, Paints, Plastic, Canned Coatings, paper Coatings, paints, varnishes, inks, glues
Steps
1. According to the wet film thickness = Coating Weight g/(density × Solid content%) formula for coating rod selection.
2. Note that the actual wet film thickness is also affected by various factors such as product ductility, viscosity, coating rod type, etc.
Notice
• The above wet film thickness calculation formula is for reference only, the actual wet film thickness is also affected by various factors such as product ductility, viscosity, coating rod type and so on.
• Samples need to be uniform, comparable, and thickness controlled precisely to ensure Test Reliability.
