Overview
The TRUIT TR 1001/5 Zain Cup is a viscosity measurement tool produced by Tengrui Zhike, designed to comply with ASTM D 4212 standards. It is used to quickly determine the viscosity of Newtonian or near-Newtonian liquids and can be used anywhere in the production site or laboratory. Widely used in inks, Coating, varnish and printing related industries.

Principle
The Zain Cup measures the viscosity by measuring the time it takes for the liquid to flow out of the standard aperture, which is proportional to the viscosity of the liquid, enabling a rapid viscosity assessment.

Steps
1. Prepare the liquid sample to be tested
Step 2 Place the Zain Cup vertically
Step 3 Pour the liquid into a full glass
4. Record the time required for the liquid to completely flow out of the orifice
5. Determine the viscosity value according to the viscosity range corresponding to the outflow time
Notice
• Only for Newtonian or near-Newtonian liquids
• The outflow time should be controlled within the range of 20 to 80 seconds
• Make sure the cup is clean and drying before use
• Keep the cup vertically stable during measurement
• Select the appropriate pore size according to the liquid viscosity range
