Overview
The TR 1008/6 ISO Cup is an ISO 2431 and GB/T 6753.4 compliant viscosity measurement cup for determining viscosity by measurement of liquid outflow time. It is designed with a 6mm pore size, the measurement viscosity range is 188~ 684cst, and the volume is 108ml. It is suitable for viscosity evaluation of Newtonian or near Newtonian liquids such as inks, coatings, paints, etc.

Principle
The ISO standard viscosity cup assesses viscosity by measuring the time it takes for a certain volume of liquid to flow out of the cup through the bottom hole. After the liquid is injected into the cup, open the outlet, record the outflow time, and calculate the viscosity value according to the ISO standard formula. Cups with different pore sizes correspond to different viscosity measurement ranges.

Steps
1. Inject the liquid into the ISO cup to the scale line
Step 2 Open the bottom outlet
3. Record the time required for the liquid to completely flow out
4. Calculate viscosity value according to measurement time and standard formula
