The TRUIT TR 3004/160/3 4-sided Applicator is a device for manual film proofing for experiments such as Coatings, inks, paints, etc., and can also be placed on an automatic film machine for Moulding. This model has four film Film thicknesses (20, 40, 60, 160 μm), an effective Spreader width of 160mm, and is made of high-quality wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant alloy steel. It can precisely control the wet-film or dry-film thickness to ensure coating conformity and Repeatability. It is suitable for mass tests such as hiding power, opacity, scrub resistance, sag resistance performance, etc.

Principle
The 4-sided Film Applicator scrapes coatings, inks or paints on the substrate to form a wet-film of the specified Film thickness through four different height scraper surfaces. Users can choose different Film thickness surfaces for Spreader to ensure accurate and consistent Coating thickness, suitable for Repeatability testing in laboratories and quality control.

Steps
1. Select the film Film thickness Applicator
2. Place Applicator on Substrate
3. Scrape evenly manually or through the Automatic Film Applicator
4. After finishing the film, remove the Applicator
