Overview
The TRUIT TR 3004/160/8 4-sided Applicator is a device for manual film proofing for experiments such as Coatings, inks, paints, etc., and can also be placed on automatic film machines. This model has four film Film thicknesses (100, 150, 200, 250 μm), Spreader width is 160mm, and it is made of high-quality wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant alloy steel. It can precisely control the wet-film or dry-film thickness to ensure coating conformity and Repeatability. It is suitable for mass tests such as hiding power, opacity, scrub resistance, sag resistance performance, etc.
Features
1. Made of high-quality wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant alloy steel, with strong durability
With four film film thicknesses (100, 150, 200, 250 μm), a variety of options are available
3. Spreader width is 160mm, total length is 190mm, moderate size
4. Support Manual and Automatic Film Applicators, Flexible Operation
5. Precise control of wet-film or dry-film thickness to ensure experimental conformity and Repeatability
Principle
The 4-sided Film Applicator uses its four film slots of different film thicknesses to uniformly Spreader Coatings, inks or paints on the substrate to form a wet-film of the specified Film thickness. The user can choose to operate the Film Applicator manually or automatically, using alloy steel to ensure the Stability and accuracy of the Spreader process, resulting in a coating with good conformity and Repeatability for subsequent mass testing.
Applications
Coatings, inks, paints
Steps
1. Select Manual or Automatic Film Applicator Mode
2. According to the experimental requirements, select the corresponding film Film thickness (100, 150, 200 or 250 μm) on the 4-sided Applicator
3. Spreader Coatings, inks or paints evenly by placing the Applicator on the substrate
4. After completing the film, check whether the wet film thickness meets the requirements
5. Clean Applicator for Next Use
Notice
• Applicator clean before use to avoid impurities affecting film mass
• Spreader process to maintain uniform strength to prevent uneven Film thickness
• Regularly check whether the alloy steel material is abrasion or corrosion, and maintain it in time
• Avoid humid environments when storing to prolong service life
• Only for experimental use, not for industrial production
