Overview
The TRUIT TR 3008/60/3 Frame Preparer is a 4-sided wet Film Applicator made of high-quality wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant alloy steel with an effective Spreader width of 60mm and a film Film thickness of 25/50/75/100μm. The instrument is used for preparing coating samples in laboratory and research environments. It can precisely control the film thickness of wet-film or Dry-Film to ensure the conformity and Repeatability of coatings. It is suitable for mass tests such as hiding power, opacity, scrub resistance, sag resistance performance of coatings.
Features
1. Made of high-quality wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant alloy steel, with strong durability
2.4-sided wet-film Spreader design, easy to operate
3. Film Film thickness precision control, providing 25/50/75/100μm film thickness options
4. Effective Spreader width 60mm, suitable for standard test requirements
5. Ensure good coating conformity, Repeatability, improve experimental accuracy
Principle
The frame Applicator uses a 4-sided Spreader structure to uniformly Spreader Coating on the substrate to form a wet-film. The wet film thickness is controlled using a preset film thickness gap (e.g. 25/50/75/100μm) to ensure uniform coating distribution. After Spreader, the wet-film can be naturally dried or further processed to enable testing and analysis of Coating performance.
Applications
Laboratory, research environment, Coating quality control, hiding power test, opacity test, scrub resistance test, sag resistance performance test
Steps
1. Prepare Coatings and Substrates for Testing
2. Select the desired film Film thickness (25/50/75/100μm)
3. Place the frame-shaped fabricator on the substrate
4. Uniform Spreader Coating to ensure coverage of the entire Spreader width
5. Applicator removed, check wet film thickness
6. As needed drying or follow-up testing
Notice
• Applicator clean before use to avoid impurities affecting film mass
• Spreaders maintain uniform strength to prevent uneven Film thickness
Avoid operating in humid or polluted environments to avoid affecting test results
• Regularly check Applicator abrasion, timely maintenance or replacement
• Only for laboratory and professional research use, following relevant safety regulations
