Overview
The film cylinder Bending tester TR 5211 is a special instrument from the TRUIT brand for evaluating the bending performance and flexibility of coatings or films. The instrument complies with GB/T 6742 and provides standardized test methods, including eight stainless steel cylindrical mandrels of different diameters (2mm to 12mm), to ensure accurate and reliable testing.
Features
The surface size is 200 x 58 x 14mm, and the structure is compact.
2. The bending shaft is made of stainless steel, which has high Hardness and corrosion resistance.
3. Easy to operate, no need to assemble, a set of eight pieces, each surface marked with a diameter number, easy to identify and use.
Principle
During testing, the coating or film sample to be tested is fixed to a cylindrical mandrel and a force is applied to bend it. The bending performance and flexibility of the coating or film are evaluated by measuring the applied force and sample deformation.
Applications
Paints production, Coating bending test
Standards
GB/T 6742 standard
Steps
1. Choose the right diameter cylindrical mandrel.
2. Fix the coating or film sample on the cylindrical mandrel.
3. Apply force to bend the sample.
4. Measurement of applied force and sample deformation.
Notice
• Make sure the cylindrical mandrel diameter is selected correctly before use.
• Avoid using non-standard samples for testing.
• Keep the instrument clean to prevent corrosion.
• Pay attention to safety during operation and avoid excessive force.
