Overview
The wire swing tester (model BLD-YB36) is a device used to test the folding endurance and performance of power cords, DC cords and other wires. It meets the general safety requirements for cord components and power cords in standards such as UL817. The tester is suitable for manufacturers and Quality control departments to evaluate the flexibility and durability of wires by simulating the bending and tensile stresses of wires in actual use.
Features
1. Simulate real stress: Simulate the bending and tensile stress of the wire in actual use by reciprocating rocking load, and evaluate the flexibility and durability.
2. Versatility: Adjustable swing frequency, angle and load size to adapt to different wire specifications and testing requirements.
3. High Accuracy measurement: Equipped with Sensor and measurement equipment, accurate measurement of parameters such as deflection angle, number of cycles and load.
4. Automated control: Adopt an automated control system to monitor and adjust test parameters in real time, and record and display test results.
5. Reliability and safety: stable structure, durable and safe, to ensure that there are no accidents during the test.
Principle
The wire rocking tester is composed of a motor, a crank mechanism, a fixture and a control system. When working, the wire sample is clamped on the fixture, and the motor generates a reciprocating rocking motion through the crank mechanism, so that the sample is subjected to reciprocating bending and stretching, simulating the stress loading in actual use. The control system can adjust the rocking frequency, angle and load size to meet different testing needs.
Applications
Power Cords, DC Cords, Wires, Cables
Steps
1. Hold the wire sample on the test fixture.
2. Set the swing frequency, angle and load size through the control system.
3. Start the motor and perform a reciprocating swing test.
4. Monitor and record test parameters in real time, such as deflection angle and number of cycles.
5. After the test is completed, analyze the test data to evaluate the wire performance.
Notice
• Make sure the power supply of the device is AC 220V/50Hz to avoid voltage mismatch.
• Check whether the fixture is firmly holding the wire sample before testing.
• Correctly set the swing frequency, angle and load parameters according to the test requirements.
• Pay attention to safety during operation to prevent accidents.
• Maintain equipment regularly to ensure structural stability and Measurement accuracy.
