Overview
The NIRUN NDJ-8S Digital Viscometer is an instrument for the measurement of liquid viscosity by the measurement of the swirl/spin motion of the liquid under applied shear force. It is based on Newton's law of viscosity, the measurement of shear stress at different shear rates and the calculation of the viscosity value of the liquid.
Features
1. Improved 16-bit microcomputer processor as the core, anti-interference performance is greatly improved
2. Digital LCD 4-line digital display with blue backlight function
3. Stepping motor direct drive, no gear, accurate speed
4. Standard RTD temperature probe, RS232 interface
5. Display the maximum viscosity value of the rotor that can be measured at the current speed
6. measurement timing function, printing time interval setting, viscosity unit selection
7. The viscosity value shows continuous change
8. Measurement range beyond the alarm sound prompt
9. Computer full-scale linear correction
10. AC power adapter 100V-240V, good anti-interference
Principle
The rotational viscometer determines viscosity by measuring the swirl/spin motion of a liquid under applied shear force. It is based on Newton's law of viscosity, which states that the shear stress of a liquid is proportional to the shear rate. The instrument measures the shear stress at different shear rates and calculates the viscosity value of the liquid based on the measurement results.
Applications
Chemical, Food, Coatings, Petroleum, Chemical, inks, Ink, Glue, Latex, Solvent Adhesive, Biochemical, Polymer Solution, Paints Coatings, Solvent, Lithium Battery Paddle, Cosmetics, Milk Products, Products, Juices
Steps
1. Place the liquid sample between the cylinders or discs of the rotational viscometer
2. Select the appropriate rotor size and speed
3. Start the instrument to make the cylinder or disc swirl/spin, and the liquid is subjected to shear force
4. Automatic measurement of shear stress and viscosity
5. View the viscosity data through the display screen, optional printing or data transmission through RS232 interface
Notice
• Measurement range is exceeded, the instrument will sound alarm
• Power supply voltage within AC 100-240V range before use
• Optional accessories include dedicated viscosity measurement thermostatic sink, ultra-low viscosity adapter, micro printer and Glass circulation cup, configured as required
• Pay attention to the temperature and viscosity range of the liquid during measurement to ensure that it is within the instrument specifications
