Overview
LX-A Shore A hardness gauge is a LEEB brand suitable for medium and low Hardness Plastic, Leather, All kinds of Rubber, Polygrease, Wax Hardness testing instrument. This product meets the requirements of national GB/T531-1999 standard and other related standards.
Features
1. The dial value range is 0~ 100HA, and the recommended Measurement range is 10~ 90HA, which is suitable for medium and low Hardness material testing.
2. The needle stroke is 2.5mm, and the size of the needle head is φ 0.79mm to ensure the test accuracy.
3. Optional Special Test Rack to Improve Test Stability and Accuracy.
Principle
Hardness gauge is pressed vertically into the sample through the pressing needle, and the Hardness value is read within 1 second when the pressing foot is in complete contact with the sample.
Applications
Medium and Low Hardness Plastic, Leather, Various Rubber, Polygrease, Wax
Steps
1. Place the sample on a solid plane, hold the hardness gauge, and the crimp is at least 12mm away from the edge of the sample.
2. Press the pressure foot firmly on the sample, so that the pressure needle is pressed vertically into the sample, until the pressure foot and the sample are in full contact with the reading within 1 second.
3. Test the Hardness value 5 times at different locations at least 6mm apart from the measuring points, and take the average value (the measuring points of the microporous material are at least 15mm apart).
4. In order to improve the stability testing conditions and improve the testing accuracy, the hardness gauge device should be measured on the same type of measuring rack produced by the supporting company.
Notice
• The crimp is at least 12mm away from the edge of the specimen.
• During the test, the pressure needle needs to be pressed vertically into the sample.
The reading should be completed within one second after full contact with the specimen.
• The spacing between different measuring points is at least 6mm (microporous material is at least 15mm).
• It is recommended to use a matching test rack to improve accuracy.
