Overview
LX-D Shore D hardness gauge is a LEEB brand hardness testing instrument, suitable for hardness testing of hard rubber, hard Resin, Glass, thermal plasticity plastic, printing board, fiber, acrylic and other high Hardness materials. This product meets the requirements of national GB/T531-1999 standards and other related standards.
Features
1. The dial value range is 0~ 100HD, and the recommended Measurement range is 20~ 90HD to ensure test accuracy.
2. The needle stroke is 2.5mm, and the size of the needle head is SR 0.1mm, which is suitable for high Hardness material testing.
3. Optional special test frame, improve the test Stability and accuracy, test erection with pressing handle, fixed load weight, adjustable Glass table and other components.
Principle
Hardness gauge is pressed vertically into the sample through the pressing needle. When the pressing foot is in complete contact with the sample, read the Hardness value on the dial within 1 second. For stability testing conditions, it can be used with the test rack to ensure that the pressing needle applies pressure vertically.
Applications
Hard Rubber, Hard Resin, Glass, Thermal plasticity Plastic, printing board, fiber, acrylic
Steps
Place the specimen on a firm plane, hold the hardness gauge, and press the needle at least 12mm from the edge of the specimen.
2. Press the pressure foot firmly on the sample, so that the pressure needle is pressed vertically into the sample.
3. When the pressure foot is in full contact with the sample, read the Hardness value within 1 second.
4. Test the Hardness value 5 times at different positions at least 6mm apart from the measuring points (at least 15mm apart from the measuring points of the microporous material), and take the average value.
5. In order to improve the accuracy, the hardness gauge device can be measured on the same type of measuring rack produced by the supporting company.
Notice
• The crimp is at least 12mm away from the edge of the specimen.
• During the test, the needle must be pressed vertically into the sample.
• The reading should be taken within one second of full contact with the specimen.
• The measurement point spacing is at least 6mm (microporous material is at least 15mm).
• It is recommended to use matching test racks to improve test Stability and accuracy.
