LX-D Shore D hardness gauge is suitable for hardness testing of hard rubber, hard Resin, Glass, thermal plasticity plastic, printing board, fiber, acrylic and other high hardness materials. This product meets the requirements of the national GB/T531-1999 standard and other related standards, and the recommended measurement range is 20~ 90HD.
1. Suitable for high hardness material testing. The recommended measurement range is clear (20~ 90HD). 3. It can be used with a special test rack to improve the test accuracy. 4. Compact structure, easy to carry.
Hardness gauge by pressing the plunger vertically into the sample, the plunger Travel is 2.5mm, and the plunger head size is SR 0.1mm. When the plunger foot is in full contact with the sample, the hardness value displayed by the dial is read within 1 second, which reflects the material's ability to resist plunger pressing.

1. Place the specimen on a firm surface. 2. Hold the hardness gauge and make sure that the crimp is at least 12mm away from the edge of the sample. 3. Press the pressure foot firmly on the sample, so that the pressure needle is pressed vertically into the sample. 4. When the pressure foot is in full contact with the specimen, read within 1 second. 5. Test 5 times at different locations with measuring points at least 6mm apart (microporous material at least 15mm), and take the average value. 6. For stability testing conditions, it is recommended to measure the hardness gauge device on the same type of measuring rack produced by the supporting company.
* Before use, check whether the pointer is displayed as zero in the free state (if not, use the zero button ZERO to clear zero). When pressed on the Glass plate, 100 degrees should be displayed. If 0 and 100 degrees are not indicated, press the pressure needle slightly several times. If it still does not display, it cannot be used. * When used on the fixed load rack, press the handle to make the hardness gauge fully contact with the test bench under the action of weight gravity. At this time, the value display should be 100 +/- 1 degrees. You can use the two adjustment handwheels under the test bench to fine-tune. If it is still not adjusted to 100 +/- 1 degrees, it cannot be used. It is recommended to send it to the factory for adjustment. * When inspecting or adjusting the zero position, a hard special measuring block must be placed under the hardness gauge to prevent crushing the Glass plate and ensure accurate indication. * Film thickness of the test sample must be greater than 6mm, the number of layers is not more than 3, and the test area must be greater than or equal to the pressure area. The number of tests is three, and the test results are the average of these three times. * When the A-type hardness gauge measurement value exceeds 90 degrees, the D-type hardness gauge is recommended; when the D-type hardness gauge measurement value is lower than 20 degrees, the A-type hardness gauge is recommended. The A-type hardness gauge indication is not accurate when it is lower than 10 degrees, and the measurement result cannot be used. * After the hardness gauge is used, it should be wiped and put into the instrument box and placed in the drying place to prevent moisture.
