LEEB Leeb231 Coating thickness gauge adopts eddy Current Measuring method, which can nondestructive detect the film thickness of nonconductive insulating coatings on nonmagnetic metal substrates, such as rubber, plastics, paints, oxide films on aluminum, copper, zinc, tin, etc. This instrument can be used in Eletroplating, anti-corrosion, chemical industry, automobile, shipbuilding, light industry, commodity inspection and other testing fields. Principle
This instrument uses the eddy Current Measurement principle to measure the film thickness of nonconductive coatings on nonmagnetic metal substrates (such as copper, aluminum, zinc, tin, etc.) (such as enamel, rubber, paints, plastics, etc.). Using high-frequency alternating current to generate an electromagnetic field in the coil, when the probe is in contact with the cover layer, eddy Current is generated on the metal substrate, and the coil in the probe is fed back. Film thickness of the cover layer can be derived by measuring the size of the feedback effect.
