LT100-3 series cladding thickness gauge is a nondestructive testing instrument using magnetic and eddy current thickness measurement methods. It can measure the nonmagnetic film thickness on magnetic metal substrates (such as steel, iron, alloys, etc.) and the nonconductive film thickness on nonmagnetic metal substrates (such as copper, aluminum, zinc, etc.). It is widely used in Eletroplating, Anticorrosion, Aerospace, Chemical, Automobile, Shipbuilding, Light Industry, Commodity Inspection and other testing fields.
1. Adopt magnetic and eddy current thickness measurement methods to adapt to different matrix and cover materials. 2. Support a variety of probes (such as F400, F05, F1, F3, F3 high temperature, F1/90 °, F10, N1, N400, N3, N05, etc.) for measurement, flexible application. 3. Provide three calibration methods: one point calibrated, two point calibrated, basic calibrated. 4. High resolution display: 0.1 μm below 1250 μm and 1 μm above 1250 μm. 5. With statistical function, it can display MAX Maximum (MAX), MIN Minimum (MIN), Average (MEA) and measurement number (No). 6. 500 measurement data can be stored.
The instrument works based on two physical principles: magnetic Induction and eddy current. For nonmagnetic coatings on magnetic substrates, magnetic thickness measurement is used; for nonconductive coatings on nonmagnetic metal substrates, eddy current thickness measurement is used. Film thickness of coatings is nondestructive measured through the interaction of Probe with coatings and substrate materials.

No specific compliance criteria are mentioned in the reference.
1. Select the appropriate probe (e.g. F1 Probe) according to the substrate and cover type to be tested. 2. According to the measurement requirements, choose a calibration method (one point calibrated, two point calibrated or basic calibrated) to calibrate the instrument. 3. Place the probe smoothly on the surface of the covered layer to be measured for measurement. 4. Read the Film thickness value on the display screen. 5. You can use the statistical function of the instrument to view the MAX Maximum, MIN Minimum, Average and measurement times. 6. The measurement data can be stored, and the instrument can store up to 500 data.
* Please select the probe type and measurement mode (magnetic method or eddy current method) correctly according to the material under test (substrate and cover layer). * Before use, select the appropriate calibration method according to the measurement requirements to calibrate to ensure the measurement accuracy. * Ensure smooth contact between the probe and the measured surface during measurement. * Instrument Operating Environment Temperature is 0~ 40 ℃ (F3 High Temperature Probe applicable temperature is 0-300 ℃). * Please use two AA type 1.5V alkaline batteries to power the instrument. * The instrument weight is 300g and the dimensions are 150 * 80 * 30mm. Please pay attention to proper storage and use.
