Overview
Grindometer is an instrument for measuring particle size distribution or particle size of Coatings, inks, pigments, cosmetics and other substances. China QXD-15 Grindometer is a standard double-channel Grindometer with a range of 0~ 15 μm and a Graduation of 0.75 μm. It is made of Zirconia Pottery and porcelain and is specially used for testing Fineness of heavily corroded materials.
Features
1. Using Zirconia Pottery and porcelain material, with high Hardness and Abrasion Resistance, keep the surface flat and stable, improve measurement accuracy and Repeatability
2. Zirconia Pottery and porcelain have Good Chemical Stability and are not easily affected by corrosion or chemical reaction
3. Zirconia Pottery and porcelain High Temperature Stability, suitable for high temperature environment measurement
4. Pottery and porcelain insulation performance is good
5. Double-channel design, groove size 140 × 12.5mm, range 0~ 15μm, Graduation 0.75μm
Principle
Spreader the sample on a flat substrate, and then scraping the material using a scraper, to evaluate the particle size and dispersion of the sample according to the film thickness or particle distribution of the residual material on the scraper.
Applications
Coatings, pastes, plastics, inks, paper
Steps
1. Spreader the sample on a flat substrate
Step 2 Use a scraper to flatten the material
3. Observe the film thickness or particle distribution of the residual material on the scraper
4. Evaluate sample particle size and dispersion based on observations
Notice
• Dedicated to testing of heavily corrosive materials
• Keep the surface of the instrument clean and flat
• Avoid violent collisions and scratches
• Clean and maintain in time after use
