Overview
HBO rubber Shore Shore Durometer LX-A is a type A pointer type Shore rubber hardness gauge, suitable for the measurement of Hardness value of low and medium Hardness materials, widely used in rubber, synthetic rubber, soft rubber, polygrease, leather, wax and other fields, pressure pin end pressure is 0.55N-8.06N. Can be purchased separately LAC-J hardness testing table to reduce manual operation pressure, with better measurement Stability.
Features
1. Suitable for measurement of low and medium Hardness materials
2. The pressure at the end of the needle is 0.55N-8.06N
3. Can be used with test rack to improve measurement Stability
4. Test frame with press handle, fixed load weight, adjustable Glass table, hardness gauge clamping arm and lifting column
5. The maximum space of the test rack is less than or equal to 45mm, making it easy to operate
Principle
Hardness value is read when the pressing foot is in complete contact with the sample, and the pressure at the end of the pressing needle is 0.55N-8.06N for measurement of hardness of materials.
Applications
Rubber, synthetic rubber, soft rubber, polyester, leather, wax
Standards
DiN 53505、ASTM D2240、IS0/R868、JIS R7215
Steps
1. Place the specimen on a firm flat surface, hold the LX-A rubber Shore Shore Durometer, and press the needle at least 12mm away from the edge of the specimen
2. Press the pressure foot firmly on the sample, so that the pressure needle is pressed vertically into the sample, until the pressure foot and the sample are in full contact with the reading within 1s
3. Hardness values are measured 5 times at different positions at least 6mm apart from the measuring points, and the average value is taken (the measuring points of microporous materials are at least 15mm apart)
4. For stability testing conditions and improve test accuracy, the rubber Shore Shore Durometer device should be measured on the same type of test frame produced by the supporting production
Notice
• The needle is at least 12mm away from the edge of the sample
• The needle needs to be pressed vertically into the sample during measurement
• Readings within 1 second after full contact between the pressure foot and the sample
• Different measuring points need to be at least 6mm apart (microporous material at least 15mm)
• It is recommended to use matching test racks to improve Measurement accuracy
