Overview
The DUBAN DB20-LX-D Shore Durometer is the D model in the Shore Shore Durometer series, designed for Hardness measurement of materials such as hard plastics, hard rubbers, hard thermal plasticity plastics and hard thermal plasticity resilience. The series includes eight models A, B, C, D, E, O, DO, OO, providing a wide range of Hardness measurement solutions, especially for rubber and plastics Hardness determination.
Features
1. Diversity: Eight models are available, each with a unique measurement probe size, measurable object, and Hardness range to meet a variety of application needs.
2. Portability: simple structure, small size, light weight, support handheld measurement or installed on the matching load rack for load measurement.
3. Data processing: support metric and imperial unit conversion, with average calculation, MAX Maximum latch and undervoltage alarm indication functions to ensure accurate and reliable measurement.
4. Data transmission: It can be connected to the computer through USB data cable output and RS-232 data cable output, which is convenient for data management and analysis.
5. Bluetooth connection: Provide Bluetooth Bluetooth ™ data output option to achieve wireless convenient data transmission.
Principle
The Shore Shore Durometer measures the Hardness value by applying pressure to the material with a measurement probe. When using a test stand, the stand applies a weight test force on the central axis of the hardness gauge needle, so that the pressure foot is pressed on the specimen, resulting in a stable and accurate Hardness value.
Applications
Hard plastic, hard rubber, hard thermal plasticity plastic, hard thermal plasticity resilience
Steps
1. Choose the appropriate type of hardness gauge (e.g. Type D for hard materials).
2. Hold the hardness gauge or install the hardness gauge on the supporting testing device rack.
3. Align the hardness gauge with the specimen surface and apply pressure.
4. Read the Hardness Value, Average or MAX Maximum on the display screen.
5. Optional data transmission via USB, RS-232 or Bluetooth connection to the computer.
Notice
• Using the test stand can improve measurement Precision and ensure that the pressure foot is firmly pressed on the sample.
• Pay attention to the working environment: temperature 0~ 40 ℃, humidity < 90% RH.
• Regularly check the power supply, use 2 * 1.5V AAA 7 batteries, and pay attention to the undervoltage alarm indication.
• Choose the appropriate model and probe according to the hardness of materials to avoid measurement errors.
