Overview
DUBAN DB20-LX-E Shore Shore Durometer is an E-type Hardness measuring instrument, specially used for the measurement of Hardness of hard sponges, EVA and other materials. Measurement range is > 90DO < 20D. The instrument has the characteristics of simple structure, easy use, small body and intuitive reading. It can be handheld for measurement or installed on a matching load rack for load measurement.
Features
1. Integrated design, small size and light weight.
2. Metric/imperial unit conversion, with average calculation, MAX Maximum latch and undervoltage alarm indication functions.
3. Use "USB data cable output" and "RS-232 data cable output" to communicate with PC.
4. Provide "Bluetooth Bluetooth ™ data output" selection.
Principle
The Shore Durometer applies a test force to the surface of the object to be measured through the measurement probe, which is converted into a Hardness value according to the depth of indentation or resistance. When using the matching test bracket, the test force is applied on the central axis of the crimp by weight, so that the pressure is fully pressed on the sample to obtain a stable and accurate Hardness value.
Applications
Hard sponge, EVA
Steps
1. Select the appropriate type of hardness gauge and stylus.
2. Handheld measurement or mounted on the test bracket.
3. Press the pressure foot against the surface of the specimen.
4. Read Hardness, Average or MAX Maximum.
5. Optional data cable or Bluetooth for data output.
Notice
* Use of test stands to improve measurement Precision.
* Ensure that the working environment temperature is 0~ 40 ℃, humidity < 90% RH.
* Use 2 * 1.5V AAA battery power supply, pay attention to the undervoltage alarm.
* Choose the appropriate hardness gauge and stylus according to the material to be tested.
