Overview
DUBAN DB20-LX-O Type O Shore Shore Durometer is a model in the Shore Shore Durometer series, specially used for the measurement of soft rubber, thermal plasticity plastics, thermal plasticity resilience, very soft and thermal plasticity plastics, medium density Spinning & weaving spindles and other materials Hardness. The instrument has the characteristics of simple structure, easy to use, small size, light weight and intuitive reading. It supports handheld measurement or mounted on a fixed load rack for fixed load measurement. It is widely used in rubber and plastic Hardness measurement.
Features
1. Integrated design, small size and light weight.
2. Metric/imperial unit conversion, with average calculation, MAX Maximum latch and undervoltage alarm indication functions.
3. Use "USB data cable output" and "RS-232 data cable output" to communicate with PC.
4. Provide "Bluetooth Bluetooth ™ data output" selection.
Principle
The Shore Shore Durometer applies a test force on the specimen by pressing the needle to measure the Hardness value of the material. When using the test bracket, the test force is applied by the weight of the bracket on the central axis of the hardness gauge, so that the pressing foot is pressed on the specimen to obtain a stable and accurate Hardness value.
Applications
Soft rubber, thermal plasticity plastics, thermal plasticity resilience, very soft and thermal plasticity plastics, medium density Spinning & weaving spindles
Steps
1. Select handheld measurement or install on the test bracket as needed.
2. Turn on the power supply of the instrument to ensure that the battery is fully charged.
3. Align the crimp to the surface of the sample and apply appropriate pressure for measurement.
4. Read the displayed Hardness Value, Average or MAX Maximum.
5. Optional data cable or Bluetooth for data transmission.
Notice
* The working environment temperature should be kept at 0~ 40 ℃, and the humidity should be less than 90% RH.
* Check the battery level before use to avoid undervoltage affecting Measurement accuracy.
Make sure the pressure needle and pressure foot are clean to prevent contamination of the sample.
* When used on the test stand, properly mount the weights to apply the standard test force.
* Avoid use in extreme environments or vibration conditions to avoid damage to the instrument.
