The instrument has the characteristics of simple structure, easy use, small body and intuitive reading. It supports handheld measurement or is installed on a loading rack for fixed load measurement. It is widely used in the determination of Hardness of rubber and plastics.

Principle

The Shore Shore Durometer applies a test force on the specimen by pressing the needle to measure the Hardness value of the material. When using the test bracket, the test force is applied by the weight of the bracket on the central axis of the hardness gauge, so that the pressing foot is pressed on the specimen to obtain a stable and accurate Hardness value.
