Overview
DUBAN DB20-LX-AM Shore Shore Durometer is an AM type Hardness measuring instrument, which belongs to the Shore Shore Durometer series. It is divided into eight models: A, B, C, D, E, O, DO, OO, and provides different measurement probes to meet the needs of Hardness measurement of different objects. It is widely used in the Hardness measurement of rubber and plastics. It has the characteristics of simple structure, easy use, small size, light weight and intuitive reading. It can be used for handheld measurement or installed on a fixed load rack for fixed load measurement.
Features
1. Integrated design, small size and light weight.
2. Metric/imperial unit conversion, with average calculation, MAX Maximum latch and undervoltage alarm indication functions.
3. Use "USB data cable output" and "RS-232 data cable output" to communicate with PC.
4. Provide "Bluetooth Bluetooth ™ data output" selection.
Principle
The Shore Shore Durometer applies pressure to an object through a measurement probe, converting it to a Hardness value based on the depth of indentation or resistance. When using the test stand, the test force is applied by the weight of the stand on the central axis of the hardness gauge needle, so that the pressing foot is pressed on the specimen to obtain a stable and accurate Hardness value.
Applications
Determination of Hardness of Rubber and Plastics
Steps
1. Choose the appropriate type of hardness gauge and probe.
2. Hold the hardness gauge or install the hardness gauge on the test bracket.
3. Apply pressure to the specimen surface by aligning the pressure foot.
4. Read the displayed Hardness Value, Average or MAX Maximum.
5. Optional USB, RS-232 or Bluetooth output data to PC.
Notice
* Use of test stands to improve measurement Precision.
* Ensure that the working environment temperature is 0~ 40 ℃, humidity < 90% RH.
* Use 2 * 1.5v AAA 7 batteries and pay attention to the under-voltage alarm.
* Select the appropriate model and probe according to the object to be measured.
* Avoid use outside the Measurement range.
