Overview
The KAIRDA KS90 90 ° adapter rod is a special accessory for Roughness Gauge, which is used to solve the problem that the Probe cannot contact the measurement area in the case of lateral displacement measurement. The adapter rod is suitable for measurement grooves, crankshafts and other surfaces. The minimum groove width of the measured workpiece is 7.5mm-20mm (specifically related to the sampling length), and it can measure steps with a height of less than 2.5mm.
Features
1. Designed for lateral displacement measurement
2. Suitable for groove, crankshaft and other complex surface measurement
3. Minimum slot width for measurement 7.5mm-20mm
4. Steps with measurement height less than 2.5mm
5. Perfect for use with KAIRDA Roughometer
Principle
By changing the measurement direction of the Probe, the 90 ° adapter rod enables the Roughness Gauge Probe to effectively contact the measured surface in the case of lateral displacement measurement. When measuring surfaces that are difficult to directly contact, such as grooves and crankshafts, the adapter rod adjusts the measurement direction of the Probe to 90 ° to ensure that the Probe can accurately contact and measure the surface roughness of the target area.
Applications
Groove surface measurement, crankshaft surface measurement, step surface measurement, lateral displacement measurement occasions
Steps
1. Install the 90 ° adapter rod onto the Roughness Gauge
2. Choose the appropriate sampling length according to the measured workpiece
3. Probe the adapter rod to the surface to be tested
4. Roughness Gauge measurement
5. Read and record measurement results
Notice
• The minimum groove width range of the workpiece to be tested is 7.5mm-20mm
• The specific applicable slot width is related to the selected sampling length
• Only suitable for step measurement with height less than 2.5mm
• Make sure the adapter rod is firmly connected to the Roughness Gauge
• Check the fit between Probe and adapter rod before measurement
