Overview
The paper dust meter (model NBC-5641) is designed and manufactured according to GB/T 1541-1989 standard, suitable for the determination of paper or Cardboard dust. The instrument has a reasonable structure and is easy to operate. It is widely used in the testing field of paper materials in Universities & colleges, R & D institutions, Quality control departments and paper printing Encasement production departments, especially for the testing of high-smoothness paper and Cardboard.
Features
1. Reasonable structure, easy to operate; 2. Suitable for high smoothness paper and Cardboard testing; 3. Widely used in a variety of institutions for paper material testing; 4. Equipped with swirling/spinning table and standard dust map, easy to compare.
Principle
The instrument observes the dust visible to the naked eye on the surface of the sample by placing the sample on the swirl/spin table under fluorescent light. The dust area size is identified by using the standard dust degree picture, and the multi-angle comparison is carried out through the swirl/spin table to ensure the accurate determination of dust degree.
Applications
Universities & colleges, R & D institutions, Quality control departments, paper printing Encasement production departments
Standards
QB/T 1665、ISO 5627、GB456
Steps
1. Sampling: cut more than 4 250mm × 250mm samples; 2. Observation: place the sample on the swirl/spin table, turn on the fluorescent lamp, check the dust at a line of sight of 250~ 300mm, and circle or record the number of different areas of dust with markers; 3. Comparison: swirl/spin table 90 °, identify the dust area with the standard dust degree picture, and mark the newly discovered dust until returning to the original position.
Notice
• It should not be used to test materials with Film thickness above 0.5mm or paper or Cardboard with high air permeability; • Keep the eye line of sight 250~ 300mm during observation; • Individual parameters may be adjusted, subject to the actual product; • Pictures are for reference, subject to the actual product.
