Overview
The RDS 14 #1/4 "Applicator rod is a wide-wound Mayer Rods with a wet film thickness of 32 microns, an application width of 300mm, a total length of 400mm, and a 50mm grip at each end. The coating applicator is suitable for flat substrates and easy-to-Curl convex substrates such as paper, foil, etc. Spreader a uniform wet-film.
Features
1.Accurate wet film thickness of 32.0 μm
2. application width of 300mm, wide range of operation
3. Design 50mm grips at both ends for easy hand-held operation
4. Made of stainless steel, durable and easy to clean
5. Suitable for a variety of substrates, including easy-to-Curl materials
6. RDS provides 2~ 95 a total of 49 models, covering different wet film thickness requirements
7. Can be selected by professional wet-film calculator
Principle
By contacting the rod body of its specific shape and material with the substrate being Spreader, the Coating is uniformly coated on the surface of the substrate to achieve accurate Coating thickness control.
Steps
1. Choose the appropriate rod number according to the desired wet film thickness (such as using the wet-film calculator)
2. Handheld coating applicator handle at both ends
3. Contact the coating applicator with the substrate
4. Move the coating applicator evenly so that the coating is applied to the surface of the substrate
Notice
• Before use, confirm that the coating applicator model matches the required wet film thickness
• Keep moving evenly during operation to ensure consistent Coating thickness
• Avoid applying excessive pressure to the coating applicator
• Clean immediately after use to prevent Coating residue
Avoid bumping or bending when storing to maintain accuracy
