Overview
RDS #20 Mayer Rods is a coating rod with a film thickness of 45.7μm and an application width of 30cm. It is divided into two processes: wire-wound and molding. The molded coating rod is formed, with a film scale accuracy of up to 0.1 μm. It is suitable for industries requiring High Accuracy. It is made of stainless steel and has wear and corrosion resistance. It is especially suitable for high viscosity or high abrasion experiments.
Features
1. The film thickness is 45.7μm and the application width is 30cm;
2. Divided into wire-wound and molding two processes, molding coating rod is formed;
3. Molded coating rod film scale accuracy up to 0.1 micron;
4. Made of stainless steel, with wear resistance and corrosion resistance;
5. Suitable for High Accuracy Requirements, especially for high viscosity or high abrasion experiments.
Principle
Through different grooves, in the form of roller painting and scratch coating, inks control amount is applied to the substrate such as film and paper, and the coating is uniformly applied to the surface of the substrate to form a flat, uniform thickness coating.
Applications
High Accuracy wire-rod film applicator, film, paper and other substrate Spreader
Steps
1. Select wire-wound or molded coating rod;
2. Install the coating rod on the film machine;
3. Apply inks to the substrate by roller painting or scraping;
4. Ensure that the coating is flat and the thickness is consistent.
Notice
Suitable for High Accuracy Industries;
- Especially suitable for high viscosity or high abrasion experiments;
- Check coating rod material and accuracy before use;
- Ensure that the coating rod is clean to avoid affecting the coating mass.
