Overview
The FRARIV G100 Hall flow meter is a special testing device designed and produced according to the national standard GB/T 1482-2010, which is suitable for measuring the flowability of metal powders (including cemented carbide powders) using the standard funnel method. The instrument is suitable for powders that can freely flow through the specified pore size (2.5mm or 5mm) standard funnel.
Features
1. Comply with the national standard GB/T 1482-2010
2. Using 304 stainless steel standard funnel, with sufficient wall thickness and Hardness, anti-deformation and excessive abrasion
3. Equipped with brackets and vibration-free horizontal bases to provide stable support
4. Optional Balance, accurate weighing to +/- 0.05g
5. Equipped with High Accuracy stopwatch, accurate measurement time to +/- 0.01s
6. 25ml stainless steel measuringflask available for loose density determination
Principle
The flowability of the powder was determined by measurement of the time required for 50g of metal powder to flow through a standard size funnel.
Applications
Determination of metal powder flowability, carbide powder flowability
Standards
GB/T 1482-2010、GB/T 1479.1-2011
Steps
1. Prepare 50g of metal powder sample
2. Choose a standard funnel with the right aperture (2.5mm or 5mm)
3. Install the funnel on the bracket and the vibration-free horizontal base
4. Use Balance to weigh the powder to +/- 0.05g
5. Allow the powder to flow freely through the standard funnel
6. Use stopwatch to measure the time required for the powder to completely flow through the funnel
7. Record measurement results
8. If you need to determine the loose density, you can use 25ml measuringflask for relevant tests
Notice
• Only suitable for powders that can flow freely through the specified pore size standard funnel
• Ensure stable support funnel for brackets and vibration-free horizontal bases
• Balance weighing needs to be accurate to +/- 0.05g
• The stopwatch measurement time needs to be accurate to +/- 0.01s
• Check whether the funnel aperture meets the test requirements before use
• Keep the test environment free of vibration interference
