Principle
CT300 Coating thickness gauge works based on magnetic Induction and eddy Current. F-type probe uses magnetic Induction principle to measure magnetic nonmagnetic film thickness on metal substrate, N-type probe uses eddy Current principle to measure nonconductive film thickness on nonmagnetic metal substrate.

Steps
1. Select the measurement method: continuous measurement method or single measurement method
2. Choose the appropriate probe type (F-type or N-type) according to the substrate material.
3. Calibrate: F type adopts one point calibrate, N type adopts two point calibrate
4. Place the probe on the surface to be measured for measurement
5. View measurement results, choose to print reports or store data
Notice
• Pay attention to the minimum radius of curvature when measuring: F-shaped convex surface 1.5mm, N-shaped convex surface 3mm
• When measuring, pay attention to the diameter of the minimum area: F type φ 7mm, N type φ 5mm
Film thickness: F type 0.5mm, N type 0.3mm
• Make sure the battery is fully charged before use
Calibration method should be selected according to the base material before measurement
