Overview
AW-B75B + Webster Hardness Tester is a Portable hardness testing instrument from the AMITTARI brand, specially designed for rapid on-site detection of soft metal hardness such as aluminum alloy. It is easy to operate, just card the instrument on the sample to directly read the hardness value, and is especially suitable for rapid, non-Destructiveness batch inspection of profiles, pipes, plates and workpieces made of hard or semi-hard brass, superhard aluminum alloy and other materials at the production site, sales site or construction site.
Features
1. Press needle: New material, new process manufacturing, high hardness, long life, good interchangeability.
2. Handle: Forged material, surface anodic oxidation treatment, beautiful, wear-resistant, pollution-resistant.
3. Hardness block: Standard hardness block is tested by standard hardness machine to ensure accuracy.
4. High mass: fine parts processing, precision machine assembly, strict mass inspection.
5. Good stability: full point stability, correction point stability.
6. Conversion is convenient: Wechsler hardness value can be converted into Vickers, Rockwell, Brinell and other hardness values.
Principle
The Webster Hardness Tester works based on a specific principle of Cedar. During testing, the instrument applies a constant test force through an internal spring, causing the stylus to press into the surface of the material under test to form Cedar. The hardness value is displayed directly on the dial by measuring the depth of indentation of the stylus or the relevant displacement, and through internal mechanical structure conversion, enabling fast and direct hardness measurement.
Applications
Hard or semi-hard brass material testing, super hard aluminum alloy material testing, aluminum alloy profiles, aluminum pipes, aluminum sheets, aluminum workpieces and Miscellaneous soft metal rapid hardness testing
Standards
The information does not mention the specific standards that the product meets.
Steps
1. Card the hardness gauge on the sample that meets the size requirements.
2. Ensure that the crimp is in vertical contact with the specimen surface.
3. Apply enough force to completely close the hardness gauge.
4. Read the Wechsler hardness value directly from the hardness gauge dial.
Notice
• Before use, please confirm that the tested material is the applicable material (hard or semi-hard brass, super hard aluminum alloy).
• Please ensure that the film thickness of the specimen is within 0.6-8 mm and the inner diameter is greater than 6mm.
• When testing, ensure that the crimp is perpendicular to the surface of the sample to obtain an accurate reading.
• Regularly calibrate the instrument with standard hardness blocks to ensure measurement stability.
• Avoid use in extreme environments or with severe Impact on the instrument.
• Please use the specified battery model (2 * 1.5AAA) according to the specifications.
