Overview
US RDS #10 Molding Applicator rod 1/4 "is a stainless steel coated rod processed by a special extrusion process with a continuous groove design and a wet film thickness of 22.9 microns. The product is divided into two types: molding rod and wire-wound drawdown bar. The molding rod has the advantages of unbroken wire and easy cleaning. The wire-wound drawdown bar follows the traditional Mayer Rod test principle and is more commonly used. The film thickness and accuracy of the same model are the same, and only the Coat Weight is different.
Features
1. Design of a molding rod with continuous grooves made by a special extrusion process
2. It has the advantage of continuous silk and easy cleaning
3. Consistent with the thickness and accuracy of the same type film as the wire-wound drawdown bar
4. Stainless steel material, strong durability
5. The application width is 300mm, and the operation range is wide
Principle
Applicator rods are formed by a special extrusion process to create continuous grooves on the steel rod, and the grooves are used to control the Coating Coat Weight to form a uniform wet-film coating. The wire-wound drawdown bar is based on the traditional Mayer Rod test principle, and the film thickness is controlled by winding the wire.
Applications
Coating tests, inks Spreaders, laboratory studies, quality control, surface coatings
Steps
1. Spreader Substrate and Coatings
2. Applicator rod at the beginning of the substrate
3. Apply pressure evenly and pull Applicator rod uniformly
4. Check wet film thickness after finishing Spreader
5. Applicator rod cleaning in time for next use
Notice
• Wash in time after use to avoid Coating residue
• Maintain uniform pulling force during operation
• Avoid collisions and scratches when storing
• Regularly check whether the surface of the Applicator rod is intact
• Applicator rods of different models cannot be mixed
