Overview

The BL121 Pool Controller is a complete system from the HANNA brand, designed to maintain water quality in swimming pools, hot tubs and spas. It is available in both basic in-line and panel-mounted configurations with bypass Flow rate Sensor, with built-in Multi-Parameter digital HI1036-1802 probe measurement of pH, ORP and temperature, automatic control of acid, alkali and chlorine dosing via a peristaltic chemical feed pump, integrated dose consent function to prevent chemical waste, and features data logging, LED indicators, real-time graphical display, programmable alarms and password protection.

Principle

The controller measures pH, ORP and temperature readings within the Probe via the Multi-Parameter digital HI1036-1802 probe, and the data is transmitted to the controller via a digital connection to ensure stable and reliable measurement. The built-in peristaltic chemical feed pump proportionally controls the dosing of acid and chlorine according to the adjustable Flow velocity. The effective chlorine effectiveness of ORP determination is inversely proportional to the pH value of water. The dose consent function does not dose chlorine until the pH value is first corrected, preventing chemical waste and excessive chlorine concentration.
