Overview
The Defelsko PosiTector 6000 FN3 metal thickness measurement instrument is a built-in probe type thickness measurement instrument with two functions of F Probe and N Probe, which can automatically identify different measurement substrates sensitively, and the measurement thickness range is 0~ 1250 microns. The instrument is compact, easy to carry, and has Abrasion Resistance Probe, which can be used normally in noisy environments. The dual functions include: measurement nonmagnetic coating when the substrate is ferrous metal; measurement nonconductive coating when the substrate is ferrous metal.

Principle
Measurement principles of magnetic Induction and eddy Current can automatically identify ferrous and non-ferrous metal substrates and automatically convert measurements in magnetic and nonmagnetic environments.

Steps
1. Install 3 AAA alkaline batteries
2. Power on and select the system language (Chinese or English)
3. Probe into contact with the surface to be tested
4. The instrument automatically recognizes the type of substrate and makes measurements
5. View measurement results and statistics through Touchscreen
6. Transfer data to PosiSoft software using USB or Bluetooth
7. Save screen images (up to 100)

• Coating thickness measurement for all metal substrates only
• Probe clean before measurement
• Avoid use in extreme temperatures or Humidity environments
• Regularly calibrate using Defelsko calibrating standards (STDS1, STDA1)
• Replace the battery in time when the battery is low
• Data storage needs to be exported in time when it is full
