Overview
CTG-802-1500FN is a split coating platings thickness gauge of YIBAI brand. It adopts magnetic Induction and eddy Current automatic conversion technology to automatically identify substrates. It conforms to ISO2178, ISO2360, GB4956, GB4957 standards, and can quickly, nondestructive, and precision measurement of coating platings thickness. It is suitable for laboratories and engineering sites, and is widely used in manufacturing, metal processing, chemical industry, commodity inspection and other fields.

1. Using magnetic and eddy current two thickness measurement methods, nondestructive measurement magnetic metal substrate nonmagnetic coating layer and nonconductive coating layer thickness on nonmagnetic metal substrate.
2. The spring guide sleeve Probe equipped with super wear-resistant cemented carbide probe is wear-resistant for more than 500,000 times to ensure stable pressing force and sampling value.

Principle
The instrument adopts magnetic Induction and eddy Current automatic conversion technology, and automatically identifies the substrate type (magnetic or nonmagnetic) by contacting the measured surface through Probe, and applies magnetic or eddy current method for nondestructive measurement to quickly obtain the thickness data of coating platings.

Steps
1. Turn on the instrument power.
2. Contact the Probe to the measured surface, and the instrument automatically recognizes the substrate type.
3. Select Single Measurement or Continuous Measurement mode.
4. Tap measurement to read the thickness data on the display.
5. Metric-to-British unit conversion (μm/mil) is possible.
6. Turn off the power after use or wait for automatic shutdown.
Notice
• Ensure that the operating Ambient Temperature is -10~ 50 ℃, Humidity < 80%.
• Check battery level before use to avoid low battery level affecting Measurement accuracy.
• Probe wear-resistant but avoid excessive Impact to extend service life.
• Keep Probe perpendicular to the surface during measurement to ensure stable compression force.
• Use within the minimum radius of curvature (F: convex 1.5mm, N: convex 3mm).
• Avoid use in strong electromagnetic interference environments to prevent measurement errors.
