Overview
CTG-802-3000FN is a split iron-aluminum dual-use Coating thickness gauge of YIBAI brand, which adopts magnetic Induction and eddy Current automatic conversion technology to automatically identify substrates. The instrument conforms to international standards ISO2178, ISO2360 and national standards GB4956 and GB4957, which can quickly, nondestructive and precise measurement of coating platings thickness. It is suitable for laboratories and engineering sites, and is widely used in manufacturing, metal processing, chemical industry, commodity inspection and other fields.
Features
1. Using magnetic and eddy current thickness measurement methods, nondestructive measurement of magnetic metal substrate nonmagnetic coating layer and nonconductive coating layer thickness on nonmagnetic metal substrate.
2. Probe with spring guide sleeve equipped with super wear-resistant cemented carbide probe, wear-resistant more than 500,000 times to ensure stable measurement.

Principle
Based on magnetic Induction and eddy Current automatic conversion technology, the instrument automatically identifies the substrate type (magnetic or nonmagnetic), interacts with the overlay through Probe, and nondestructive measurement of platings thickness.

Steps
1. Install the battery and turn it on.
2. Select Measurement mode (Single or Continuous).
3. Touch the Probe surface for measurement.
4. Read the thickness data on the display screen.
5. Optional unit conversion (μm/mil).
6. Automatic shutdown after use.
Notice
• Make sure the Probe is perpendicular to the surface during measurement and avoid tilting.
• Probe maintains a stable compression force for hard or rough surface measurements.
• Operating Ambient Temperature should be -10~ 50 ℃, Humidity < 80%.
• Shut down in time after use to save power.
• Probe abrasion and check performance regularly.
