Overview
The AR907 digital megohmmeter is an instrument for the measurement of the insulation resistance of generators, motors, power transformers, wiring, appliances and other electrical installations. It is widely used in routine maintenance procedures to indicate potential faults by monitoring changes in insulation resistance and requires periodic calibrations to ensure meter accuracy.
Features
1. Rated voltage selection: 50V, 100V, 250V, 500V, 1000V
2. Wide insulation resistance test range: 0.0MΩ~ 19.9GΩ
3. Integrated AC voltage test function: range 30~ 600V
4. High Accuracy measurement: Insulation resistance Precision +/- 5% reading +/- 5 words, AC voltage Accuracy +/- 2% rdg +/- 3rdg
5. Portable design: Net weight only 396g, battery powered
6. Smart Tips: With buzzer alarm function
7.Strong adaptability: working environment 0 ℃~ 40 ℃, ≤ 85% RH
Principle
Rated voltage is applied to the electrical device under test to measure its insulation resistance. Changes in insulation resistance can reflect the insulation performance of the equipment, and regular monitoring can warn of potential failures.
Applications
Electrical equipment insulation resistance test, electrical equipment insulation performance test, industrial equipment insulation performance test, aircraft and spacecraft electrical equipment insulation performance test
Steps
1. Select the appropriate Rated voltage gear
2. Connect the test Probe to the device under test
3. Start the test and read the insulation resistance value
4. If necessary, conduct an AC voltage test
5. Record test results and analyze them
Notice
• Make sure the equipment is powered off before testing
• Select the appropriate voltage gear to avoid damage to the equipment
Periodically calibrate meters to ensure measurement accuracy
• Pay attention to the working environment Humidity requirements
• Pay attention to safety protection during testing
• Environmental requirements when not in use for a long time
