Overview
The AR3125 high voltage insulation resistance meter (also known as megohmmeter or high resistance meter) is widely used for the measurement of insulation resistance of generators, motors, power transformers, wiring, appliances and other electrical installations. It is often used in routine maintenance procedures to indicate potential failures by monitoring changes in insulation resistance and requires periodic calibrations to ensure meter accuracy.
Features
1. Provide multiple output voltages: 500V, 1000V, 2500V, 5000V
2. Measurement range: up to 1000GΩ
3. High Accuracy : +/- 5% reading +/- 3 digits
4. With AC/DC voltage test function: 30~ 600V
5. Built-in LCD backlight display and high voltage probe
6. Support polarization index measurement
7. Provide overload protection and voltage resistance
8. Portable design with suitcase
Principle
The high voltage insulation resistance meter calculates the insulation resistance value by applying high voltage direct current to the device under test and measuring the leakage current flowing through the insulating material. Changes in insulation resistance can reflect the insulation performance status of the equipment and help warn of potential failures.
Applications
Power transmission and distribution equipment testing, industrial production equipment testing, building electrical system testing, aerospace equipment testing, scientific research experiments, railway system testing, power equipment manufacturing testing
