Overview
LEEB242 (F1) paints thickness gauge is a LEEB brand Coating thickness gauge. It uses the principle of magnetic Induction thickness measurement. Measurement range is 0~ 1250μm. It is equipped with F1 magnetic Probe and thermal printer. The instrument is suitable for measurement of the thickness of nonmagnetic coatings on magnetic metal substrates, such as aluminum, chromium, copper, zinc, tin, rubber, paints on steel ferroalloys and hard magnetic steels.
Features
1. Automatically calibrate the zero point, allowing for system error correction.
2. Voltage prompt, automatic shutdown;
3, two points calibrated, can improve accuracy;
4, large screen LCD backlight display, adjustable contrast ratio;
5. Can set up upper and lower limit overrun alarm.
Principle
LEEB242 (F1) paints thickness gauge uses the principle of magnetic Induction thickness measurement to determine the thickness of the cover layer by measuring the change of magnetic Induction between the magnetic metal substrate and the nonmagnetic cover layer.
Applications
Aerospace, Aviation, Eletroplating, Anti-corrosion, Chemical, Automotive, Shipbuilding, Light Industry, Commodity Inspection
Steps
1. Automatic proofreading of zero points;
2. Carry out two-point calibrating to improve accuracy;
3. Set up upper and lower limit overrun alarms;
4. Use F1 Split Probe for measurement;
5. Display the read data through the large-screen LCD backlight.
Notice
• Measurement range is limited to 0~ 1250μm with an error range of +/- 3%;
• The minimum measurement surface is φ 7mm, the minimum radius of curvature is convex 1.5mm and concave 9mm;
• The thinnest substrate is 0.5mm.
• Operating temperature is 0~ 40 ℃, relative humidity is 20~ 90% RH;
• Use a 6V/600mA rechargeable nickel-metal hydride battery, pay attention to the voltage prompt and automatic shutdown function.
