Overview
The HM-48 multi-sample tissue grinder is a special, fast, efficient, multi-testtube system that can extract and purify raw DNA, RNA, and proteins from any source, including soil, plant and animal tissues/organs, bacteria, yeast, fungi, spores, paleontological specimens, etc.
Features
1. The number of operations is large and the effect is good: the efficient and fast work can complete the grinding of 48 samples within 1 minute, saving time and effort, the difference between batches and batches is small, the extracted protein is higher than live, and the nucleic acid fragments are longer.
2. No cross-contamination: The sample tube is fully enclosed during the crushing process, and disposable centrifuge tubes and beads can be used. The sample is kept intact in the tube to avoid cross-contamination between samples and external contamination.
3. Easy to operate: Built-in program controller, can set parameters such as grinding time and rotor vibration Frequency; Humanized Operating interface.
4. Stability: The vertical oscillation mode is adopted, the ground is more sufficient, and the Stability is better; during the operation of the instrument, the noise is less than 55dB, and it will not interfere with other experiments or instruments.
5. Convenient low temperature operation: When a low temperature grinding environment is required, the adapter with the sample can be immersed in the liquid nitrogen to chill down for 1-2 minutes, and then moved to the host to quickly fix the grinding. There is no need for re-freezing treatment, saving liquid nitrogen.
6. Repeatability: The same tissue sample is set to the same procedure, the same grinding effect is obtained, Working time is short, the sample temperature will not rise.
Principle
The HM-48 multi-sample tissue grinder uses vertical oscillation combined with the rapid vibration of the grinding ball in the closed sample tube to crush and grind the samples efficiently, and realizes the extraction and purification of DNA, RNA and protein.
Applications
Plant tissues (roots, stems, leaves, flowers, fruits, seeds, etc.), animal tissues (brain, heart, lungs, stomach, liver, thymus, kidneys, intestines, lymph nodes, muscles, bones, etc.), fungi, bacteria (yeast, Escherichia coli, etc.), food, pharmaceuticals, volatile samples (coal, oil shale, wax products, etc.), plastics, polymers (PE, PS, Spinning & weaving products, Resin, etc.)
Steps
1. Set parameters: Set the grinding time and rotor vibration Frequency through the built-in program controller.
2. Prepare the sample: put the sample into the adapter, if you need to operate at low temperature, you can immerse in liquid nitrogen to chill down for 1-2 minutes.
3. Secure the adapter: Move the adapter to the host and quickly fix it.
4. Start grinding: Start running the instrument and grind the sample.
5. Finish processing: After grinding, take out the sample tube.
Notice
• Sample tubes require disposable centrifuge tubes and beads to avoid cross-contamination.
• When operating at low temperature, the adapter should not be immersed in liquid nitrogen for too long, preferably 1-2 minutes.
• The operating noise of the instrument is less than 55dB, but it is still necessary to ensure that the environment is quiet to avoid interference.
• The ground parameter settings need to be adjusted according to the Sample type to ensure the best results.
• Adapter material is PTFE or alloy steel, check whether it is in good condition before use.
