Overview
DB13-934-1 Pasteur hardness gauge is a newly designed and developed Cang type hardness gauge, mainly used in aluminum processing industry and frp industry. It is used to test pure aluminum, softer aluminum alloys, thicker aluminum alloys, Aluminum Panels, Aluminum profiles, aluminum rods, aluminum castings, aluminum forgings and aluminum alloy products.
Features
1. Pap Hardness value (HBa) of measurable materials
2. Small and lightweight design, one-handed operation, one pressure can be used, no experience is required, and it can be used in any occasion
3. Wide test range, from very soft pure aluminum to particularly hard aluminum alloy can be tested, the effective test range is equivalent to brinell hardness 25~ 150HB
4. No support required, only tested on one side of the sample, suitable for testing oversized and ultra-thick workpieces and assemblies
5. With MAX Maximum Hold function, record the maximum Hardness value during measurement
6. DB13-934-1 + model can additional measurement brinell hardness value (HB), Vickers Hardness value (HV), Wechsler Hardness value (HW), rockwell hardness value (HRB/HRE/HRF/HRH)
7. The DB13-934-1 + model has the average calculation function, which can calculate the average of up to 29 sets of data
Principle
The DB13-934-1 Pasteur hardness gauge uses the principle of Cedar hardness testing to evaluate the Hardness value by measuring the Cedar on the surface of the material.
Applications
Aluminum processing industry, FRP industry
Standards
ASTM B648-10 (2015) Standard Test Method for Crane Hardness measurement of aluminum alloys with Bacol hardness gauge, ASTM D 2583-13 Standard Test Method for Bacol Hardness of Hard Plastics, GB/T 3854-2005 Standard Test Method for Bacol Hardness of Hard Plastics, GB/T 3854-2005 Test Method for Bacol Hardness of Reinforced Plastics
Steps
1. Hold the hardness gauge with one hand
2. Align the hardness gauge head to the test sample
Step 3 Apply pressure to test
4. Read the displayed Hardness value
Notice
• Ambient Temperature should be in the range of 0~ 50 ℃
• Environmental humidity should be less than 80% RH
• Powered by 2 AA batteries
• Make sure the surface of the sample is clean and flat before testing
• Avoid use in humid or corrosive environments
