1. Can store 99 sets of measurement data; 2. With statistical function, automatically calculate MAX Maximum, MIN Minimum and average value; 3. With male and imperial unit conversion; 4. Automatic shutdown and undervoltage prompt function; 5. Can automatically remember the calibrated value, and can automatically identify the material of the tested substrate; 6. Use USB, Bluetooth data output to communicate with PC.
Principle
The DB22-CM222 Coating thickness gauge is based on the principle of magnetic Induction and eddy Current for measurement. The F-type Probe uses the principle of magnetic Induction to measure the thickness of the non-magnetically permeable covering layer on the surface of magnetically permeable materials (such as iron, nickel); the NF-type Probe uses the principle of eddy Current to measure the thickness of the insulating covering layer on the non-magnetically permeable metal substrate (such as aluminum, copper, zinc) to achieve nondestructive detection.
Applications
F Probe: platings, paints layer, enamel layer, aluminum tile, copper tile, Babbitt tile, phosphating layer, Paper thickness measurement, hull paints and underwater structural parts attachment thickness measurement; NF Probe: aluminum, copper, zinc, non-magnetic stainless steel and other materials Surface paints, plastic, rubber coating measurement, anodic oxidation layer thickness measurement of aluminum or aluminum alloy materials
Standards
ISO2178、ISO2360、GB4956、GB4957
Steps
1. Install 4 AA batteries; 2. Select F-type or NF-type Probe according to the base material; 3. Place the Probe on the measured surface for measurement; 4. The instrument automatically recognizes the base material and displays the thickness value; 5. Use the statistical function to view MAX Maximum, MIN Minimum and Average; 6. Output data to PC via USB or Bluetooth.
Notice
- Ensure that the Ambient Temperature is within the range of 0~ 40 ° C and Humidity is within the range of 10~ 90% RH; - Pay attention to the minimum surface requirements during measurement: F-type Probe convex 1.5mm/concave 25mm, NF-type Probe convex 3mm/concave 50mm; - The minimum measurement area is 6mm; - The thinnest substrate is 0.3mm; - Regularly check the battery power to avoid undervoltage affecting the measurement; - Shut down in time after use to save power.
