Overview
DB22-CM221 Coating thickness gauge is a battery-powered Portable measuring instrument, using magnetic Induction and eddy Current principle, in line with international standards ISO2178, ISO2360 and national standards GB4956, GB4957. It combines computer technology and nondestructive detection technology to accurately measure Coating thickness without damaging the subject. It has the characteristics of small measurement error, high Reliability, Good Stability and easy operation. It is an indispensable nondestructive testing instrument for controlling and ensuring product mass. It is suitable for engineering sites and laboratories.
Features
1. Can store 99 sets of measurement data (DB22-CM222 model); 2. With statistical function, automatically calculate the MAX Maximum, MIN Minimum and average value during the measurement period; 3. With male and imperial unit conversion function; 4. With automatic shutdown and undervoltage prompt function; 5. It can automatically remember the calibrated value and automatically identify the material of the tested substrate; 6. Use USB and Bluetooth data output to communicate with PC.
Principle
DB22-CM221 Coating thickness gauge uses magnetic Induction and eddy Current principles for nondestructive testing. F-type Probe uses magnetic Induction principle to measure the thickness of non-magnetically permeable coatings on the surface of magnetically permeable materials (such as iron, nickel); NF-type Probe uses eddy Current principle to measure the thickness of insulating coatings on non-magnetically permeable metal substrates (such as aluminum, copper, zinc, non-magnetic stainless steel), which can accurately measure the thickness without damaging the measured body.
Applications
F type Probe: platings, paints layer, enamel layer, aluminum tile, copper tile, Babbitt tile, phosphating layer, Paper thickness measurement, hull paints and underwater structural parts attachment thickness measurement; NF type Probe: Insulation coating thickness measurement on non-magnetically conductive metal substrate, anodic oxidation layer thickness measurement of aluminum or aluminum alloy materials
Standards
ISO2178、ISO2360、GB4956、GB4957
Steps
1. Install 4 AA batteries; 2. Select F-type or NF-type Probe according to the material of the tested substrate; 3. Place the Probe on the measured surface for measurement; 4. The instrument automatically recognizes the substrate material and remembers the calibrated value; 5. Read the measurement data, which can be converted into male and imperial units; 6. Use USB or Bluetooth to output data and communicate with the PC; 7. The instrument has an automatic shutdown function.
Notice
- The working ambient temperature range is 0~ 40 ° C, Humidity is 10~ 90% RH; - Minimum surface requirements: F-type Probe convex 1.5mm/concave 25mm, NF-type Probe convex 3mm/concave 50mm; - Minimum measurement area is 6mm; - The thinnest substrate is 0.3mm; - Pay attention to the battery undervoltage prompt, replace the battery in time; - Ensure that the Probe is in full contact with the measured surface for accurate measurement.
