Features
1. Provides 94dB and 114dB sound pressure level outputs, based on 20µPa
2. Output Sound Level Frequency 1000 + 0.1% Hz, can be corrected on A, B, C, D or Linear Frequency weighting
3. Level 1, high accuracy
4. Suitable for φ 12.7mm (1/2 inch) and φ 23.77mm (1 inch) microphones and acoustic measuring instruments calibrated
5. Application Specific Integrated Circuit, Good Stability and Reliability
6. Handheld design for easy field and laboratory use
7. Operating temperature range: -10~ + 50 ° C
Principle
Acoustic calibrators are used to calibrate the Sensitivity of microphones by generating a stable sound wave signal at 1000 Hz, forming a precise sound pressure level (94 dB or 114 dB) in the acoustic cavity. When the microphone is placed in the acoustic cavity, its output Response can be measured and compared to Standard values to achieve calibrating.
Applications
Sound level meter calibrating, sound measurement system calibrating, microphone Sensitivity calibrating, field acoustic measurement, laboratory acoustic testing
Standards
GB/T15173、IEC942
Steps
1. Open the battery cover and install 2 AAA batteries.
2. Put the microphone into the acoustic cavity and make sure the adapter is sealed
3. Press the switch/function key to select the desired sound pressure level (94dB or 114dB)
4. Observe the indicator light to confirm that the equipment is working normally
5. Carry out calibrated measurements
6. Turn off the power after use
Notice
• Make sure the microphone matches the adapter cover and is well sealed
• Operating temperature range: -10~ + 50 ° C
• Storage Temperature range -40~ + 65 ° C
• For every 60-meter increase in altitude, the sound pressure will decrease by 0.1dB, which needs to be corrected accordingly
• Regularly check the battery level to ensure normal operation
• Avoid Severe Impact or Vibration of Equipment
