Principle
The BP-1500FN Coating thickness gauge works based on the principle of magnetic Induction and eddy Current. The Fe function uses magnetic Induction to detect the nonmagnetic Coating thickness on magnetic substrates, which is suitable for coatings such as paints and plastics on substrates such as steel and iron. The NFe function uses eddy Current to detect the insulation Coating thickness on nonmagnetic substrates, which is suitable for coatings such as paints and plastics on substrates such as aluminum, copper, and stainless steel.

Steps
1. Install 2 AA batteries
2. Power on and select Measurement mode (Single or Continuous)
3. Touch the Probe surface, and the instrument automatically recognizes the type of substrate
4. Read the thickness value on the display
5. You can choose to shut down manually or wait for automatic shutdown.
Notice
• Test ambient temperature range is -10-50 ℃, relative humidity is less than 80%
• Ensure that the thickness of the substrate is not less than 0.3mm.
• Maintain Probe compression stability during hard or rough surface measurement
• Avoid Strong Impact or Drop of Instrument
• Regularly check Probe abrasion to ensure Measurement accuracy
