Overview
BP-3000FN Coating thickness gauge is a magnetic and eddy current integrated measuring instrument of HuiNuo brand, which can automatically identify magnetic or nonmagnetic substrates and automatically convert them for fast, non-destructive and precise coating and platings thickness measurement. The instrument can be used in both laboratories and engineering sites. It is widely used in the automotive industry, manufacturing, metal processing industry, chemical industry, commodity inspection and other fields. It is an instrument required by the material protection profession.

Principle
The BP-3000FN Coating thickness gauge works based on the principles of magnetic Induction and eddy Current. The Fe function uses magnetic Induction to detect nonmagnetic Coating thickness on magnetic substrates, and the NFe function uses eddy Current to detect insulation Coating thickness on nonmagnetic substrates. The instrument automatically recognizes the substrate type and switches the corresponding Measurement mode for fast, nondestructive thickness measurement.

Steps
1. Install 2 AA batteries.
2. After the machine is turned on, the instrument automatically recognizes the type of substrate.
3. Select Single Measurement or Continuous Measurement mode.
4. Touch the Probe surface for measurement.
5. Read the thickness value displayed on the LCD screen.
6. You can choose manual shutdown or automatic shutdown.
Notice
• The test environment must meet the requirements of Operating temperature -10-50 ° C and relative humidity < 80%.
• Ensure that the thinnest thickness of the substrate is not less than 0.3mm during measurement.
• When measuring surfaces with small radius of curvature, pay attention to the minimum radius F of the convex surface is 1.5mm, N is 3mm, and the minimum radius F of the concave surface is 25mm and N is 50mm.
• Probe is made of carbide to avoid damage due to excessive force.
• Regularly check the battery level to ensure Measurement accuracy.
