Overview
The US Defelsko Coating thickness gauge enjoys a good reputation at home and abroad, of which the Positector6000 series is the most widely used. This product is the PosiTector 6000 N3 model, which adopts an integrated structure and is a single-function Coating thickness gauge. It is suitable for the measurement of nonconductive Coating thickness on non-ferrous metal substrates. It has the storage function of graphic Linear dispersion display measurement results and 100,000 measurement data.
Features
1. Integrated structural design
2. Single function type, dedicated to non-ferrous metal substrates and nonconductive coatings
3. Linear dispersion measurement results
4. Data storage function
5.2.8 inch Color Touchscreen
6. Support USB and Bluetooth Interface
7. IP65 Protection Ratings
High-speed measurement with more than 180 readings per minute
Principle
Using the eddy Current Measurement principle, the electromagnetic field is generated by Probe, and the thickness of the nonconductive coating on the nonferrous metal substrate is measured.
Applications
Non-ferrous metal substrate, nonconductive coating environment
Standards
ISO 2178/2360/2808、PrEN ISO 19840、ASTM B499/D1186/D1400/D7091/E376/G12、BS3900-C5、SSPC-PA2
Steps
1. Install 3 * AAA alkaline battery
2. Select the system language (Chinese or English)
3. Probe placed on a nonconductive coating surface of a nonferrous metal substrate for measurement
4. View measurement results and graphics via Touchscreen Linear dispersion
5. Use USB or Bluetooth interface to connect to PosiSoft software suite for data transfer
Notice
• Only suitable for non-ferrous metal substrates (e.g. aluminum, copper)
• Only for nonconductive coating measurements
• Make sure the battery is fully charged before use
• Keep Probe in vertical contact with the coating surface during measurement
• Regularly calibrate using Defelsko calibrating standards (STDS1, STDA1)
Avoid use in extreme environments
• Pay attention to group management when storing data
