Overview
The AW-20A Webster Hardness Tester is an instrument that can quickly test the Hardness of aluminum alloys in the field. It is easy to use and can directly read the Hardness value in one card. It is particularly suitable for rapid, non-destructive piece-by-piece qualification inspection of batches of aluminum alloy products at the production site, sales site or construction site.
Features
1. New materials and new processes are used to manufacture the pressing needle, with high Hardness, long life and good interchangeability.
2. The pointer is made of high-strength material, which is not easy to bend and deform after long-term use or wrong operation.
3. The handle is made of forged material, surface anodic oxidation treatment, beautiful, wear-resistant and pollution-resistant.
4. The standard Hardness block is tested by the standard Hardness machine.
5. Fine parts processing, precision machine assembly, strict mass inspection.
6. Stability, full point stability, correction point stability.
Principle
Webster Hardness Tester provides fast, non-destructive Hardness detection by applying pressure to aluminum alloy materials and directly measuring Hardness based on indentation depth or resistance.
Applications
Hardness Testing of Aluminum Alloy Profiles, Pipes, Sheets, Aluminum Workpieces and Miscellaneous Soft Metals
Steps
1. Card the hardness gauge on the aluminum alloy sample to be tested.
2. Directly read the Hardness value displayed by the hardness gauge.
Notice
• Specimen thickness should be within 0.6-13 mm
• The inner diameter of the sample should be greater than 10mm
• Suitable for testing hardness of aluminum alloy materials
• Hardness Measurement range of 25~ 110HRE
