Overview
The KAIRDA KS110 Probe is a surface Probe for Roughness Gauge, suitable for the measurement of cylindrical surface asperity with a radius greater than 3mm. The Probe is one of the accessories of the KAIRDA Roughness Gauge series (including NDT120, NDT150, NDT110), designed to extend the measurement capabilities of the instrument on different profiled surfaces.
Features
1. Specially designed for measurement of cylindrical surfaces, suitable for surfaces with a radius greater than 3mm.
2. Can be used complementary to Miscellaneous KAIRDA Roughness Gauge Probe (such as standard Probe, small hole Probe, deep groove Probe).
3. Optional extension rod to increase the length of Sensor, or with adapter rod to achieve lateral displacement.
Principle
As the Sensor of Roughness Gauge, the KS110 Probe detects the microscopic unevenness of the cylindrical surface through the contact measurement mode, converts the surface profile signal into an electrical signal, and processes and displays the asperity parameters by the host.
Applications
Cylinder surface asperity measurement
Steps
Connect the KS110 Probe to a compatible KAIRDA Roughness Gauge host (e.g. NDT120, NDT150, NDT110).
2. Ensure that the radius of the cylindrical surface under test is greater than 3mm.
3. Touch the Probe lightly on the surface measurement point.
4. Start the host to make measurements and read data.
5. Optional extension rod or adapter rod to adapt to different measurement needs.
Notice
• Only for measurement of cylindrical curved surfaces with a radius greater than 3mm.
• Make sure Probe is compatible with Roughness Gauge hosts before use.
• Avoid excessive pressure during measurement to prevent damage to the Probe or surface.
• Optional accessories such as extension rod and adapter rod should be configured according to actual needs.
