Overview
The solvent resistance tester (model: RJCS) is a professional device used to measure the solvent resistance of coatings. The device provides quantitative data for coating performance evaluation by simulating specific wiping conditions and evaluating the number of wipes required for coating damage.

Principle
The device uses a wiping head with a certain speed and wiping pressure, which contacts the absorbentcottonph of the solvent wetting. The wiping head reciprocates on the surface of the sample and records the number of wipes through a counter. When the coating is damaged, the number of wipes at this time is recorded to evaluate the solvent wiping performance of the coating.

Steps
1. Unscrew the setting bolt of the sample fixture, place the 75 x 200mm sample and then tighten the bolt.
2. Wipe the contact surface of the head with absorbentcottonph parcel and fix it, fill the inner cavity with absorbentcottonph and drop the solvent to exudation, and then install the wiping head on the sliding arm.
3. Turn on the power supply, set the number of wipes through the counter, and turn the speed control knob to select the wiping speed (recommended to adjust to MAX, that is, 60 times/min).
4. Turn on the governor power switch to start the test, automatically stop after reaching the set number of times, and remove the sample for observation.
5. During operation, the governor power switch can be turned off at any time to pause, and then reopened to continue.
6. After automatically stopping, press the "clear" button on the counter to prepare for the next test.
Notice
Before operation, make sure that the sample size meets the requirements (75 x 200mm).
• Appropriate amount is required when parcel wiping head and adding absorbentcottonph and solvent to ensure uniform exudation of solvent.
When selecting the wiping speed, it is recommended to refer to standards or test requirements, and the recommended speed is 60 times/min.
• If you need to pause the machine during operation, please operate the governor power switch directly.
• After the test, press the "Clear" button to reset the counter for next use.
• Please pay attention to power safety when operating, and the power supply of the equipment is 220V 50Hz.
